Cakestry15 – Customer Order Terms & Guidelines

Cakestry15 is a premium, made-to-order, 100% eggless bakery specialising in customised celebration cakes. Every order is planned and prepared specifically for the customer.

Please read the following terms carefully before making payment.

1. Order Booking & Limited Slots

  • Cakestry15 accepts orders on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Our production capacity is limited and only a limited number of orders are accepted for each day.
  • Sharing a quotation, payment link, QR code, design, or order details does not reserve or confirm a production slot.
  • A booking is confirmed only after the required payment has been successfully received and the order has been confirmed by Cakestry15.
  • Until full payment is received, the requested date and production slot remain available for other customers. Orders are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis only after payment is successfully completed.
  • Production planning begins only after the order has been confirmed.

2. Payment & GST Billing

  • Full payment of the cake/order amount is required for order confirmation.
  • Cakestry15 uses a GST-enabled billing system, therefore the cake/order amount is collected upfront so that the order can be billed and confirmed.
  • Cake prices quoted include 5% GST, wherever applicable.
  • Delivery charges are separate and are collected later once the delivery method and applicable transportation charges are finalised.
  • Payment links are generally valid for 4 hours after being shared. Expiry of a payment link does not guarantee availability of the requested date or production slot.
  • Please verify all order details before making payment.

3. Order Details

Customers are responsible for providing and checking the accuracy of:

  • Cake size
  • Flavour
  • Theme/design
  • Name and spelling
  • Age
  • Cake message
  • Event date
  • Delivery/pickup time
  • Delivery address
  • Contact number
  • Other special instructions

Cakestry15 will prepare the cake according to the final confirmed order details.

Any special request discussed through phone or WhatsApp should be considered confirmed only when it has been acknowledged by Cakestry15.

4. Custom Cake Designs

Cakestry15 specialises in custom-designed cakes. Every cake is handcrafted specifically for the customer's requirements.

Reference images are used to understand the desired theme, style and overall appearance. The final cake may have reasonable differences in colour, proportions, detailing, decoration, texture and finishing due to the handmade nature of cake production.

5. AI-Generated Designs

If the approved reference is an AI-generated image:

This design is AI-generated and will be recreated by Cakestry15 as a realistic cake. Since an AI-generated image cannot be reproduced exactly in cake form, the final cake may have slight differences in detailing, proportions, colours, textures and finishing. We will create the best possible version while maintaining the overall look, theme and essence of the design.

6. Reference Designs – No Xerox / Exact Copies

We do not make Xerox or exact copy replicas of reference designs.

We take inspiration from the approved reference and create our own version, keeping it as close as practically possible while maintaining our own creative execution and considering cake structure, food-safe techniques and available materials.

Once a design has been finalised and approved, it is treated as the design for production. Changes requested after preparation has started may not be possible.

7. Changes After Booking

Because cakes are custom-made and production is scheduled in advance:

  • Changes to flavour, size, design, message, name or other specifications may not be possible after confirmation.
  • Last-minute changes cannot normally be accommodated.
  • Any requested change is subject to bakery confirmation and production feasibility.
  • Additional charges may apply where a requested change involves additional ingredients, decorations, toppers or production work.

8. Delivery & Pickup

Customers can choose:

Self-Pickup:
Collect the cake from our store at 51, B Block Road, B Block, Sector 64, Noida.

Cab Delivery:
The cake may be sent through a third-party cab service such as Uber or Ola. The customer receives the cake at the destination and pays the one-way cab fare directly to the driver.

Staff Delivery:
Delivery may be arranged through our staff, subject to availability. Applicable to-and-fro transportation charges are payable by the customer.

9. Delivery Timings

  • Delivery service is available Monday to Sunday, 10 AM to 8 PM.
  • Deliveries are scheduled in 1-hour time slots, such as 6–7 PM.
  • Exact to-the-minute delivery cannot be guaranteed.
  • Traffic, weather, route conditions, transportation availability and other external factors may affect delivery timing.
  • The customer or an authorised recipient should be available during the selected delivery slot.
  • Please share your WhatsApp pinned/live location when requested for delivery.

10. Delivery Responsibility

Cakestry15 carefully prepares and packs every cake before dispatch.

When a cake is transported through a third-party cab or transportation provider, Cakestry15 cannot be held responsible for damage if any caused during transportation due to sudden braking, traffic, road conditions, accidents, mishandling by the driver, weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Drivers generally deliver to the ground-floor entry point, gate, reception or another accessible point.

If delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, unreachable phone, recipient unavailability, restricted access or refusal to accept the order, additional waiting, return or re-delivery charges may apply.

11. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are separate from the cake price.

They depend on the delivery method, distance and transportation requirements.

  • Cab delivery → one-way fare paid directly to the driver by the customer
  • Staff delivery → applicable to-and-fro transportation charges payable by the customer
  • Self-pickup → no delivery charge

12. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Once an order has been booked and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Cakestry15 cakes are custom-made and perishable, and production slots and materials are allocated specifically for confirmed orders.

A request to postpone the order may be considered if made at least 3 days before the scheduled delivery/pickup date.

Any postponement is subject to:

  • Bakery confirmation
  • Availability of a suitable production slot
  • Availability of the requested new date

If cake preparation has not yet started, Cakestry15 may allow the order to be moved to a later available date.

No refund will be provided for a postponed order.

Last-minute rescheduling requests cannot normally be accommodated because orders are pre-slotted into our production schedule.

13. Same-Day & Urgent Orders

Same-day or urgent orders may be accepted for selected cakes depending on availability, design requirements, preparation time, production capacity and delivery availability.

Availability must be confirmed by Cakestry15 before payment.

14. Cake Handling

After receiving or collecting your cake:

  • Keep the cake flat and level.
  • Carry the box with both hands.
  • Keep it on a stable, flat surface while transporting it yourself.
  • Avoid placing the cake on a car seat or lap.
  • Avoid sudden braking, sharp turns and rough roads.
  • Keep the cake appropriately refrigerated as advised.
  • Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat.

15. Non-Edible Decorations

Custom cakes may contain decorative elements such as acrylic toppers, wires, sticks, toys, figurines or structural supports, faux balls etc that are not edible.

These must be removed before serving, especially when the cake is being served to children.

16. Quality Concerns

If you believe there is a genuine issue with your order, please contact Cakestry15 as soon as possible and preferably within 24 hours of delivery or pickup.

Please provide:

  • Order number
  • Details of the concern
  • Clear photographs/videos where applicable

Each case will be reviewed individually.

Reporting an issue does not automatically qualify an order for a refund. Any resolution will depend on the nature of the issue and whether it is attributable to Cakestry15.

17. Agreement

By completing payment, the customer confirms that:

  • The order details have been checked and approved.
  • The design/reference has been finalised.
  • They understand that handcrafted cakes may have reasonable variations.
  • They understand the delivery method and applicable delivery charges.
  • They understand the 1-hour delivery slot system.
  • They understand the cancellation and rescheduling conditions.
  • They agree to these Customer Order Terms & Guidelines and the applicable Cakestry15 policies.
